James smoked a turkey on the green egg this year. Notice
that it was dark outside-we got up at 5:30am to put it on.
It was delicious!!!!

Going On's

My sweet girls!

This is Lilly for you! She wanted something,
and didn't want to wait. After 4, I've learned
to grab the camera before you get on to them.

Khloe gave Maela a mohawk. Maela's not sure
what to think about this.

Khloe's friends Brinley and Ila spent the night Friday night.
We went to eat at Texas Roadhouse, and they split us up to
seat us faster, so the "big" girls go their own table.

We sat Maela in her bumbo chair while Khloe was doing
her homework, and she manuvered herself into this
position, and "watched" Khloe for 30 minutes. It was sooo
funny.

I just wanted to share some fun pics
over the last couple of weeks. Hope
you enjoy!

Too Sweet

Emma being a little mommy

Emma getting some good loving from Maela

The other night Emma wanted to get Maela to sleep, and
she was successful at it. Emma is such a kind, compassionate,
loving child, and a wonderful big sister to Maela (and Lilly).

SUCKER!!!

The cousins with Bella Fern(minus Kalie)

Emma with Bella Fern.

Lilly with Bella Fern

Khloe with Bella Fern

As most people know, I am NOT an animal person.
I tolerate two dogs, and tolerated 10 puppies, all for
my husband and children, but I myself, have no need
for the companionship of an animal. I have four
wonderful children, and a great husband, but that is
about all the companionship I need. haha. Anyway, last
week, Lori, called me from the girls school and said
someone was giving away kittens and would I be willing
to help with the costs/needs of a kitten for our compound.
To which I replied sure, it is welcome to live in my garage.
I guess she caught me on a really good day. The girls were
shocked that I said yes, and so I told Lilly that we needed to
go wait outside for Bobba to get home because she had a
surprise. Lilly was just as excited as the big girls. So
we are now the shared-owners of a kitten. Her name,
agreed on by all, Bella Fern was chosen because of the
books Twilight and Charlotte's Web.

Too Funny

Lilly's babysitter, Mrs. Jody, birthday was
recently, so we made cupcakes to take for
the kids to eat. Lilly wanted to decorate them
herself, so I relinquished my control over what
they looked like, and let her decorate them.
She also wanted to decorate them without
her clothes on, to which I also obliged. They
turned out really cute.

Maela

There is nothing sweeter or more peaceful
to me than a sleeping baby.

Maela is really into cooing and "talking" to us lately. This
is her "talking"

This past week, James put her jumpee together.
She seems to enjoy sitting in it.

James and Maela enjoying some TV time. I'm sure
they were watching football.

This is Khloe's best friend Brinley, who turned 9 recently.
For her birthday, she wanted to miss school and keep Maela.
She is such a sweet little girl, and I am so thankful that she
and her family are part of our lives.

50's DAY

Khloe's class celebrated the 50th day of school
with a 50's party. They dressed up in 50's attire,
and had coke floats. A big thank you to Mimi for
the poodle skirt.
